WARRIOR IS A WOMAN

Picture:Net
Warrior is a woman By Asiimwe Sam RUHINDI
🎶warrior is a woman woman, warrior is a woman 🎶
🎶warrior is a woman woman, warrior is a woman 🎶
🎶warrior is a woman woman, warrior is a woman 🎶

Every year we celebrate heroes yes world heroes
But there are some left unrecognized
The ones who fight lifetime battles
Yes the women our mothers

🎶warrior is a woman woman, warrior is a woman 🎶
🎶warrior is a woman woman, warrior is a woman 🎶

She sacrifices her life to keep her family moving
She does every kind of work from cheap to most classic
She will be called all sorts of names but will stay quiet
She gets cheap job but she goes on
🎶warrior is a woman woman, warrior is a woman 🎶

She spends sleepless nights fighting with her drankard husband
But in the morning she dresses her smile again
And neighbors be like mwaramutse she be like namahoro
But deep inside her heart she is bleeding suffering from hidden wounds
🎶warrior is a woman woman, warrior is a woman 🎶

She gets dumped buy his husband after days and nights of lemons and onions
She goes out on street
And out of shame her ex husband start saying
She was a slut I’ve been helping her
But she bares all the pain
As she discovers her self again

🎶warrior is a woman woman, warrior is a woman 🎶

DEAR GIRLS

DEAR GIRLS BY ASIIMWE SAM RUHINDI

 We are really blessed to
you always make our days
Have you by  our side
But I need to ask you a favor, warning
It’s about the words you call boys

Yes sometimes you might be
Kidding but sometimes kidding
Turns into reality.
Dear girls
Every boy is not
A creepy manhore
Player or womanizer
And many more you know them

Just like how back
In my junior & high school days
In my sweet teenage hood
Girls used to call boys

I know we are not perfect
Sometimes we might  not mean our words
But we are not born that way

We are born to be brave and loving
Responsible and caring
Do you remember your first love
During your teenage hood
The promises you made and
How you broke them just
In a blink of an eye?

Because your eyes fell
For that nice guy you
Then called mr perfect  and
Later dumped you

Harya ngo abumwe agatukisha bose
Am so mad at this saying like real mad
My Goodness he is one in a million
Not a million in one
Please have sense of understanding

Do you remember the guy you had
Turned into your ATM machine
Every time you needed money he was always ready

And just because one day  he
Failed to control his feelings and
Reached down your pants makes you
Shout out to the world

Dear girls I want to ask you
A favor to help you small sisters
And your future daughters not
To call boys players..creepy because they aren’t.

YOU LOVED ME

YOU LOVED ME        BY ASIIMWE SAM RUHINDI

Storm over my soul
Thunder and quake in my heart
Fear in my vein
But am not shaken
Because you loved me

In absence of parents
You cared for me
In absence of friends
you were the best friend
It's because you loved me

You wiped off my tears
Fixed my broken heart
Drew off my worries
Healed my wounds
Because you loved me

You're my crying shoulder
My resting place always
Source of my joy ever
You make my life meaningful
Because you loved me

My people have obulated my soul
To wicca for richness
But you,you gave out your son
To rescue my life
Because you loved me

SMILE

SMILE by ASIIMWE SAM RUHINDI

My lighting system
My every day outfit
The scent i wear always
Makes my life brighter
Makes me fresh ever
Takes away my grief
Rubs off my weary
My day to day language
To young and old
Makes me look younger
Looking winsome
My weapon in hard times
Smile you’re my companion

WHO WILL SAVE THE WORLD?

WHO WILL SAVE THE WORLD?
by ASIIMWE SAM RUHINDI

As I walk down beautiful
Streets of Kigali in a warm
Dawn song birds are singing
It’s a safe state for me
But I draw thoughts, thoughts
On the other world am so
Fascinated by the past
And the t present world
It’s so wild and violent
Million lives perish day to day
Still young and innocent ooh!!
Avarice of natural endurements
Being the catalyst of the scenario
A strong question runs my mind
Who will save the world??
Is it an alien or an Angel?
No it’s me and you, you
Love and unity being
Our rhyme always
To make the world our home
Areal paradise not ruin
The world is you and me.

WHY

WHY
BY ASIIMWE SAM RUHINDI

In every dream I dream of
In every thought I think of
Every question I ask my self
Remains the same why?
I wonder why some do great
Others become so jealous
And I ask my self why
?
I wonder why some people are greedy
Avarice and bounties colonized them
Great people have gone
Their memories light our path
This world appreciates in their absence
And my question remains why?

Advise that you’re inconveniencing
Then scorners raise their vocals
Everybody wants to be on top
We share red blood, same tears
As a sign of brother hood
A slight difference in skin colour
Foolishly leads us to racism why?

Natural endurements light our world
Man shed blood for it
Innocent young blood become orphans
We are all passer’s by
This world is not our own
My wish is work together like

Ants preserve our dignity

MOTHERLESS

MOTHERLESS
by ASIIMWE SAM RUHINDI

Day after day night after night
Time passes away but I can’t find
A way to forget you mom
You produced me, breast fed me,
You showed me a mother’s love to a child
Oh am motherless mother less

When the winds of the nights are so cold
Even in the dark, your absence lights up
I look up in the sky hoping to see you
But I can’t I only see the stars moving
And I do believe that in those stars
One represents you my dear
Oh am motherless

Have you ever felt so alone and nothing?
Makes sense that’s how I feel right now
I feel like I’m facing everything on my own
With nothing but tears and a fake smile
Oh am motherless

I close my eyes so I can sleep
But your smiling face comes back to me
I put my hands in the air to hold you
But I find my self alone
Oh no am motherless

TONGUE AN INDEPENDENT MUSCLE

TONGUE AN INDEPENDENT MUSCLE  By Sam Asiimwe Ruhindi

Tongue is an independent muscle
It says what it comes across
even what it thinks
it might be good or bad
constructive or destructive
source of all conflicts whether personal or social ones
breakout of strong relationships
Divorce of strong marriages
its charming and sweet at times
also piercing and soar
it says out the truth
Love and peace prevails
unity and harmony lights
up our world daily
says out lies
chaos and war arise
Destruction and loss
enmity and r ivory
brightness the world
but control it carefully
every thing is gonna
be alright and good
Oh yeah why not
control the tongue
and change the world.

I DREAM A WORLD

I DREAM A WORLD by Sam ASIIMWE RUHINDI

I dream a world where man
will live a peaceful life
where no other will scorn
where love will bless the earth
and peace it's path adorn.

I dream a world where all will
know sweet freedom's way,
where greed no longer sap the soul
nor avarice blights our day.

A world i dream where black or white
whatever race you'll be will
share the rewards of the earth and every man is free
where miserableness will hang its head, and joy like a pearl.

I dream a world where peace,love
and cooperation are the first things
with all man kind of such
I dream our wonderful world

RWANDA MY MOTHER LAND

Rwanda My Mother Land by Sam Asiimwe Ruhindi

Rain drops of bullets
Innocent blood quenched machete
In hundred days millions perished
What was a family became ruin
The world kept a deaf ear
Water collected it's self back to normal
It's my country oh sweet Rwanda.

It's now twenty years down the road
We remember and honor innocent blood
What had became ruin
Now it's an adorable family
It's so precious like Gold
Every party honors it
It's my mother land Rwanda.

We remember not to revenge
But to unite like river and Oceans
Oh yeah we renew our land
Making it adorable and sweet
That's our rhyme everyday
Togetherness,patriotism and
Love of our country.
It's my sweet mother land Rwanda.
